Auction Deposit
- A refundable deposit is required to participate in Japanese vehicle auctions.
- Standard deposit: USD 500–1,000 for standard vehicles. Higher deposits may apply for luxury or high-value vehicles.
- The deposit confirms bidding intent and grants bidding power (typically up to a 10× multiplier)
- Refundable if no purchase is made; non-refundable if the winning bid is made but the buyer fails to complete payment within the agreed timeframe.
- Auction deposit cannot be used to pay for the vehicle itself .
Vehicle Payment Terms
- Full vehicle payment must be completed within 3 working days of receiving the invoice and auction sheet.
- Payment methods accepted: Telegraphic Transfer (TT) or bank transfer only.
- Vehicle will be shipped only after full payment is received. Failure to pay on time may result in order cancellation and forfeiture of deposit.
- Late fee (e.g., USD 50–200 or a percentage) may be applied, consistent with industry examples .
Shipping Deposit
- A shipping deposit is required to secure a vessel booking, based on destination and shipping schedule.
- Deposit is deductible from the final freight charges.
- After booking, if the customer cancels, the shipping deposit may be partially or fully non-refundable, per shipping line policy.
Bill of Lading (B/L) & Documents
- The Bill of Lading and all shipping documents will be released only after full payment confirmation.
- Customers must provide proof of payment (e.g. bank slip or screenshot) via email or WhatsApp for expedited processing.
Late Payment and Cancellation
- No cancellations allowed once the auction bid is won.
- Failure to pay the balance within 3 working days results in forfeiture of auction deposit, and may lead to blacklisting.
- No refund of shipping deposit if cancellation occurs after booking.
- All bank charges (sending/receiving) are the responsibility of the buyer.
- Prices do not include import duties, customs clearance, or local taxes.
